Integrated Swim

Program Description and Goals: The Integrated Swim allows persons with special needs to enjoy the pool for free. Oak Bay Recreation Center believes in creating an inclusive and welcoming space for individuals with disabilities within the community. The admission fees are waved to assist with any financial barriers
Program Information: The family/disabled change rooms are wheelchair accessible and there is a WISPA Lift to help with transferring while changing. The WISPA Lift on the pool deck accesses the main pool, the small pool and the hot tub. This swim is open to all ages and abilities. Admission is free for one person with special needs and up to 2 family members or friends.
Time: 11:30 – 1:00 every Saturday
