Victoria Best Babies

Offering support for expectant & new mothers and fathers. Victoria Best Babies (VBB) is a Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program principally funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada and sponsored by the Fernwood Community Neighbourhood Resource Group. The program provides prenatal and postnatal support to pregnant women living in the City of Victoria.

VBB staff consists of a Program Coordinator, Registered Dietitian, Outreach Worker, Family Response Worker. All staff have specific training in perinatal healthcare. The primary task is to support behavior changes that will improve maternal and infant health outcomes. The staff subscribes to a multi-discipline approach and addresses determinants of health when assisting women to have a healthy pregnancy. To learn more about our service please call 250-381-1552.
