Care Home Parenting Program (CHPP) helps young women who are pregnant or in the early months of parenting (aged 16-21) through a combination of housing, life skills training and counselling. The program specifically supports women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Anyone can make a referral to the Care Home Parenting Program

Supportive Recovery Care Homes are designed to provide a safe, supportive home for youth wanting to deal with their drug and alcohol issues who may also be dealing with other issues, including mental health challenges. Youth accepted into the program are between the ages of 13 and 19, male, female, or transgender, and have voluntarily asked to be in this program. Referrals are made by the youth’s Alcohol and Drug Counsellor with Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Turnabout is a program for youth who are on probation and experiencing difficulties with their family or Ministry placement. While in the program, youth work toward increasing their life skills and, where appropriate, bridging the gap between them and their families. Referrals are made by a Youth Probation Officer.

Turning Point is a program for youth between the ages of 12 to 19, male, female or transgendered, who are dealing with issues of personal safety. Referrals are invited from any concerned individuals.

The Withdrawal Management Program offers a non-medical detox in a private, safe and supportive care home setting. Referrals are made to the Detox Intake Worker for services to male, female, and transgender youth between the ages of 13 to 19 years old who are in need of detox services.

Connections is a community-based, court ordered monitoring service for males and females ages 12 to 18, which provides an effective alternative to the incarceration of youth. Youth must be willing to follow a court order, attend school or a day program, and are deemed a "manageable risk" to the community.

Ages: 12-19 yrs
